Sharon Moreno
Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher
Providing excellent customer service since 2009.
Prior to joining American Leak, Sharon worked in the contractor industry, at an insurance company, and a tile company.
Sharon enjoys movies, reading, celebrity gossip, playing Wii, and coaching competitive softball. She has a dog that she treats as her own child, and is a huge fan of the Baltimore Orioles and New York Mets.
Kara Schmidl
Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher
Providing excellent customer service since 2010.
Kara has extensive customer service experience in construction, manufacturing, banking, telecommunications and utilities.
Kara is a fifth generation Texan, originally from West Texas. She grew up in a ranching and farming family. She moved to the DFW Metroplex in 1996 to pursue a double degree in history and english from the University of Texas at Dallas. She still has plans to complete the degree.
Kara enjoys learning, reading, woodworking, DIY projects and shares Sharon's interest in celebrity gossip. She enjoys the time she spends with her husband and her son and daughter.
Brad Smith
Pool Leak Specialist
Providing excellent customer service since 2008.
Brad has been in the pool leak detection/service industry since 1998. He has experience working with equipment repairs, salt systems, pool remodels, pool maintenance and has taken continuing education classes for swimming pool water heaters and salt systems. And since working in the pool industry Brad has overseen the construction of 3 pools. He is a certified PADI® Diver with a dry suit, and is Search Rescue Advanced Certified.
Brad enjoys SCUBA Diving, working on motorcycles, old cars, and trucks. He is a family man and enjoys spending time with his wife and 4-yr old boy.

Justin Rucas
Pool Leak Specialist
Providing excellent customer service since 2010
Justin is a former United States Marine that has served our country in Iraq. While serving, he gained experience as an electrician and left the Corps as a Journeyman Electrician. Since serving, he advanced his career by working in new construction and re-modeling.
Justin plays baseball and softball competitively as well as watching all sports. He enjoys outdoor activities and just generally being outside enjoying nice weather. |

 Marcus Shoemaker
Pool Leak Specialist
Providing excellent customer service since 2007.
After serving our country in the US Navy, in 2001, Marcus got his start in the pool industry as a cleaner and equipment repair technician. Since joining American Leak in 2007, he has developed his skills as a leak detection specialist.
Marcus' numerous hobbies include playing video games and coaching little league football, which he has been doing for the past 11 years. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and son, Joshua. |

 Brian Weeks
Slab Leak Specialist
Providing excellent customer service since 2000.
Brian joined American Leak Detection after immigrating with his wife and two kids from South Africa. While in South Africa, he gained experience in the plumbing industry while working for a contractors supply company. As a Leak Detection specialist, he is cross trained in all areas of leak detection, but his specialty is in slab leak detections. He holds a Master Plumber's License, which he obtained in 2006.
Brian enjoys all outdoor activities, such as gardening, fishing and hiking. |

 James Willis
Slab/Sewer Leak Specialist
Providing excellent customer service since 2001.
Prior to joining the Dallas office, James spent 2 years working with American Leak Detection in Tulsa, OK. He currently holds a Journeyman Plumber's license and has extensive knowledge in all areas of leak detection and repair including slabs, sewers, infrared, trenchless pipe replacement, e-pipe, and much more. James has experience working in residential, commercial, and municipal areas.
He enjoys playing golf and softball, racing cars, and spending quality time with his wife and kids. |
